Plagiarism Policy

The International Journal of Advanced Research and Innovations is committed to maintaining the highest standards of academic integrity. To uphold this commitment, all submitted manuscripts undergo a rigorous plagiarism detection process using advanced software that compares content against an extensive database of published sources. The editorial team ensures proper citation, academic coherence, and originality in every submission.

Author Responsibilities

Authors must:

  1. Confirm the originality of their work.
  2. Provide appropriate source attribution for all references, data, and prior research.
  3. Ensure that any unpublished data cited is properly credited and that appropriate permissions are obtained.

By submitting a manuscript to International Journal of Advanced Research and Innovations, authors acknowledge their understanding of and agreement with the journal’s Plagiarism and Copyright Policy as stated in the article’s copyright transfer agreement.

Definition of Plagiarism

Plagiarism includes, but is not limited to:

  1. Copying ideas, text, data, or creative work (e.g., tables, figures, or graphs) and presenting them as original without proper citation.
  2. Reusing previously published work without permission from the copyright holder (even if cited correctly).
  3. Copying content word-for-word without proper identification, such as quotation marks, italics, or indentation, followed by appropriate citation.

Authors must ensure that even their own previously published content is properly acknowledged. Extensive word-for-word copying, even of the author’s own work, must be clearly indicated with appropriate references.

Proper Attribution in Blind Review

In cases where self-citation may compromise the double-blind review process, authors should provide a “blinded” citation that does not reveal their identity. They should also inform the editor about how the citation will be adjusted upon acceptance for publication.

Data and Graph Reproduction

Reproducing charts, graphs, or data from previous publications without clear citation is strictly prohibited. Proper credit must always be given, and permissions must be acquired if required.

Transparency and Ethical Practices

The primary goal of this policy is to promote transparency, allowing the editorial team to distinguish original contributions from previously published material. Authors uncertain about proper citation practices are encouraged to provide clarification in a cover letter to the editor.

Failure to comply with this policy may result in manuscript rejection, withdrawal of published articles, or further legal action if necessary.
